Former Florida Governor Charlie Crist OD's on Kool-Aid

Charlie Crist who once called himself "a Ronald Reagan Republican" is now a Democrat.  He didn't take a direct route.  He has changed political affiliations like Kim Kardashian changes boyfriends.  Crist was elected as Florida Governor as a Republican, switched to Independent to run for the U.S. Senate, and now thinks by switching to the Democrats, he can ride the President's coat-tails back into his old job as Governor.

I am not against politicians switching parties. I believe that people and parties change.  To me it is obvious that Mr. Crist has changed to further his political career and not because of his core beliefs.  To his credit, he did not change while in office.  There have been politicians who have been elected by their constituents from one party or the other and abandoned them while in office, that is wrong.

What happens if another party, say the Libertarians, have a sudden surge in popularity in Florida?  Will he switch again?  This is the kind of politician that will do anything to hold power and influence and all of the perks that go with public office.

Florida is a great state, I hope that the citizens there are smart enough to keep this mooch out of office.
