Vacation and Guest Blogger

I will be going on vacation for a couple of weeks (my kid is graduating from Texas State University) and don't foresee having a bunch of time for blogging.  With this in mind, I've invited a good friend, fellow Navy retiree, and good old fashioned conservative to post in my stead.  His name is Tom Gannon and he is as far away from Kuwait as you can get.  He's a New Yorker and true Patriot.  Please welcome him.
